I am assuming you design something as designers soft ware, hardware. architecture clothing all areas of creativity find the greatest value in compatibility of the team.
Diffculty is this particular time was greed as teams broke up due to higher wages elsewhere. The end result I feel was less truly innovative mouse traps came to market and many reinvented ones hammered the prices down.

So i suppose the free market is a determining factor but there is also the mind which benefits in achieving the utmost of ones ability.

This wave of down turns in our techs will also be felt in Europe. Solid companies will become leaders and that will not depend on size but products. So i think your experience in team will end up becoming the most valuable asset a company has.

Tom Siebel told it as he also referred to his group as a team in one of the releases I read. The market rewarded him this morning for his straight forward approach. I have a hunch people are searching for realistically based companies self seving TJ's are no longer in vogue.

Realism is going to include a back to earth trend of just how much a CEO is worth.
