Gold is a currency dude sarcasm?

Fine, then let's call it a currency. A currency that lacks monetary components. Which means that it plays second fiddle to real currencies like the CAD. It also lacks inflation, deflationary pressures, and growth. So what makes anyone think that it'll react any different then it did in 98? The idealism that Gold holds value is an ironic lie propagated by those similar too:" a Diamond last forever"; "Never try to time the markets"; "Dollar cost average"

And yes a lower dollar can be good for gold and for tech stocks at the same time. I will leave that to you to figure out.

That's fragmented logic. You make the assumption that the US dollar can only go lower. Yet I still haven't seen the 82 level that other predicted here on the GPM for the US Dollar index. I see little connection between the USD and techs stocks... {maybe you are blind Dude? But I'll leave that for you to figure out on your own} Maybe you'd like to equate the USD to Tech Earnings, and not the market cap of the stock. But that's not what you said. I think the GPM regulars are grasping at straws, and hoping too much....
