David, your explanation jives with what the CBOE statement says. An important piece of info that Victoria or anybody wanting to close a pre-merger option position should know is that the symbols will change on the morning following the "time of merger". I was wondering if the symbol would change or what, and it looks like post-merger, the UQX's will be UQY until they expire. We're all a little more experienced now. Neat-o! DK
