"i read a few days ago on another thread that you were considering going short on iomega but that it was risky(or something like that). i think that you should come clean and tell us why you are here refuting every piece of good news about iomega."

You mis-read the post. Feel free to find it and re-post it here.

What I imagine you came across was a light-hearted post about my apparently uncanny ability to call tops when I am uninvolved with the stock. I called both NSCP and IOMG on the basis of "office talk". In the case of IOMG, it was a co-worker asking if I thought it was good idea to invest in IOMG, and at the same time asking who might be a good broker. This was on the very day that IOMG hit 53.

I commented in the post that I could probably make good money acting on these hunches, but that I thought that it was dangerous to short such stocks.

I am invested long in IOM. But this does not mean that I am required to join a fan club and agree with unrealistic speculation. I believe that IOM will basically just keep chugging along, and as long as it chugs along while making money that's just fine with me.

If the stock gets away on unrealistic speculation at some point (we're sure not there at this price) I will not hesitate to sell or even go short. (Because I think that off of NASDAQ, IOM isn't as dangerous to short as it once was.)

On the matter of the 1/3 quote, I'm sorry that others here have lost both their spectacles and their sense of humor. In the future, I will make sure to supply copious smiley-faces to make sure that I am not mis-understood. :) :) :)
