As to Temple, I seem to recall that he has preferred and alternate maps for the S+P (futures for him) for the next few years. His favored had them peaking at 1250 around now (though I think it was later, and I can't find the link on his free site) and then going wayyyyyy down. His alternate basically had a clear rise til the end of the year. The futures hit 1255ish today, so I would think he would find us near an inflection point.

Does it all hinge on Microsoft? Geez, maybe the government is right about them :-)
