UTEK First Quarter 2001 Results suite101.com For the first quarter of fiscal 2001, Ultratech reported net sales of $44.2 million compared to $29.9 million during the first quarter of 2000. Ultratech's net income for the first quarter of 2001 was $5.6 million or $0.25 per share (diluted) compared to a net loss of $21.9 million or $1.02 (diluted) per share for the same quarter last year. Excluding the cumulative effect of SAB 101, Ultratech's net loss for the first quarter of 2000 was $3.0 million dollars or $0.14 per share (diluted).
