NY Times had an article that, IMO, will affect both INTC and, therefore, AMAT. It was abt how the new Windows XP is difficult to install, and is a major upgrade. Therefore, people will have to buy new computers to avail themselves of the advantages.

In another article, the Times wrote about the improvements in voice recognition software. This may also require upgrades.

Things are looking even better than I expected--kannehurra.

PS--kannehurra is the Yiddish equivalent to "knock wood"
