Protecting the environment is one of the biggest no-brainer popular stands to take however during the campaign the GOP is skilled at making fun of it and making it seem un-American and effeminate. Nothing should be further from the truth. I'm always amazed when American males seem to think pollution is macho and cool. Makes me start to lose faith in our people when I see this type of thing. Clean environment does not cost jobs. That is a Big Lie. It preserves jobs and overall well-being. Never kill the Golden Goose. Conserve and protect. Unfortunately people like Cheney do not agree.
