glenn, problem is broadband users don't buy akam's stuff. the content providers do. so reality doesn't matter. rather, the cost benefit as perceived by the content providers matters. I understand that. However, if more people were screaming for speed since they have broadband, then the content providers would pay. really, the choice is more hardware or akam's software. we are in an environment where hardware is cheap and, for the most part, unwanted. Close but not exact. AKAM has the hardware in place plus exc excellent software. One can really see the difference using broadband and accessing a site that is Akamized or one that is not.
