The only things that smells bad are the decisions made by TJ and Bell. They ran up the expenses pursuing a failed growth strategy that was nothing more than their own masturbatory fantasy. Let’s face it, these guys have never successfully made money for anybody. Why would their tenure at ATHM be any different?

Bottom line, if the company wanted to continue to operate they had to raise additional cash. At least their MSO “partners” know AT&T will take good care of the BB assets. Otherwise, they may have split.
