Could someone clear up some DVD facts please? It is my understanding that while CD-rom drives are cheap, CD "burners" are still relatively expensive and have been on the market for some time. I don't personally know anyone who owns one but I know lots of folks with IOM products. DVD-rom is currently expensive and when DVD writeable is available how could it be more affordable than CD writeable? Finally, aren't all CD/DVD type drives write once? You plunk down $ for a blank disc, write your data to it and it's permanent. No erase, no reuse. How can that possibly be competition for Zip or Jaz? Or am I missing something?

Regards,
Milo
