Hi Mag,

I also thought the 152 mph in the Salt Flats was unworldly. If I remember correctly, he said it took him 2 miles to slow down. He rode in a vortex created behind an Indy race car. Every once in a while he would touch the envelope of the vortex and he said it felt like a wall.

I agree with you on Lance. He was training while he was getting chemo. My wife gave me his book for Christmas, but I have not had time to read it yet. As a teenager, prior to his bike racing career, he was a world class triathlete.

I thought the bents probably had a different adjustment system than a road bike. Your logic on the seat move versus the boom adjustment seems plausible.

A long time ago, I used to ride with a stereo (headphones), I gave it up because of traffic concerns. I do miss the tunes though. Do you use headphones? It would seem to be somewhat dangerous even in the country.
