AH decliners. All sound like stocks I wouldn't touch either. Did anything decline much that we actually follow around here? I doubt it. So why spread this news as if it's "bad news"? I'll bet the advancers-to-decliners was about 4-1 which is amazing after nine days of rallying. But not so amazing when you realize the market has been coming down for a whole year. That's why I think this rally will last (most days) until May 15th at least. That's three more weeks of buying with minimal profit-taking to get back to "fair value" (or the perception thereof). By then anyone who has been shorting all along could be ruined financially. Why would you want to promote that? haven't you covered yet? Better to warn people of the clear and present danger of shorting anything for awhile. And I mean anything except maybe gold or the so-called Prudent Bear Fund, if you could short such a thing. That's about all there is here these days. Pure green across the board except on modest profit-taking days. Expect it to continue. However if for example CIEN gets to 80 okay, that particular type stock might need a correction. But we're not there yet. CIEN's at 67 still down 60%. Give it another 15% to make sure. Better to be safer than sorry.
Consider that if you've convinced anyone to short in the past three weeks you've cost them money. Their own fault I know but something to think about. Big turnarounds like this don't end on a dime a week later. This one has legs.
