The reason for the cut? GS Rumors GS is down 1.60 to 98.05 on rumors there are problems with the firm's fixed-income portfolio. One analyst who wouldn't be named completely dismissed the report, and GS itself said the rumor is "ridiculous," although they would not comment on specifics Rumor has hedge funds that are shorting the stock starting the rumor netcog.com
