That guy on CNBC just made a good point, these companies didn't see the downturn, so now how can they see improvements by years end?? Don't believe them, IMO. They are FOS. I have a copy of Money in front of me, here's what Chambers said in Sept., The information-technology industry is going to have a very good next five years. Ruettgers says in Dec., We've already told investors we would do at least 12 billion in 2001, ooops. Esrey says in Aug., We're well positioned in the high growth areas, data, the internet, wireless. I agree with Siebel, these companies shouldn't be saying what they're saying about the future. |
