Golf, I can just see it now. Nokia asks the head of the FCC (Secretary of State Powell's son) to postpone the deadline so that Nokia can sell more imported handsets in the U.S., and so that the companies using the QCOM chip can sell less! Do you think that outcome would really happen, especially when the fortunes of U.S. companies are at stake? What do you think the public reaction would be, especially from service providers like Sprint and Verizon, who are eager for the opportunity to introduce value added features that will allow them to take market share or obtain more revenues from subscribers?
