Gimme a break, DAK. Mortgage payments as a percentage of income haven't changed much in decades - except for people on the West coast. Skeets didn't produce any data, just anecdotal evidence from where he lives, which, surprise surprise, is the West coast. Which, I believe, is where you live, too.

Edit: I forgot, he linked the Grandfather website. Very reliable source.

Edit again: I won't bother asking him again to produce documentation for his assertions - it was a complete waste of my time. If you think challenging someone to support his assertions is belittling, then your ego is mighty fragile.
