Ostara to Embed Niku's Services Relationship
Management Solution into the OstaraEcosystem(TM)
Ostara, Inc., a leading Vertical Service Provider (VSP) of Internet-based business solutions for the architecture and engineering (AE) industry, today announced a strategic alliance with Niku Corporation (Nasdaq: NIKU). The alliance integrates Niku's Service Relationship Management (SRM) solutions into the OstaraEcosystem(TM) suite of office automation applications, which automate and streamline the business processes of architecture and engineering firms. Additionally, Ostara will be an authorized reseller, incorporating Niku's net-native SRM product suite into its product and service offerings.
Ostara will incorporate Niku's SRM product suite into the OstaraEcosystem(TM), customizing the solution for the AE industry and integrating it with other industry-specific components of the OstaraEcosystem(TM), such as Office Manager, Client Activity Management, OstaraMobile, OstaraTools, and OstaraArchive. This integrated, outsourced solution will be 100% Internet-based and provide AE firms with a total solution for managing their businesses.
The Niku/Ostara solution will streamline and automate business processes within AE firms. It will allow users to connect to their external team members, partners, customers and suppliers via a common platform. AE firms will also gain the ability to more effectively store, manage, retrieve and reuse intellectual assets - these include proposals, plans, drawings, e-mail, contracts, and multimedia files - making it possible to leverage information and knowledge across the firm.
