I don't understand the deal. How does an ISP sell their network? Is this the TDM/ATM feeds or the routers and networking stuff.

If its just bandwidth, I don't know that I care. It may be a commodities market in 2 years. Check out RTX and you'll see what I mean. Commodiites exchanges are opening up for bandwidth. Personally I'd like to shop around and not depend on AT&T to provide my bandwidth since their delivery costs are probably much higher than say a good CLEC.

I think this goes back to you original question of what does this company own? Losing its inhouse technical capability and links to the cable modem/CATV world altogther and their gate keeper function with MSO headends [if that ever really existed] would make this company worthless. Especially for a paltry $85 million. No doubt TJ blew at least this up his nose while he was in the office. I should have considered this when I saw his big, red, oversized nostrils during the CNBC interview.
