For a "Gold Price Monitor" thread there were not any gold miners listed.
I do not know how much gold Cisco or Nortel produces or uses,
but I can not imagine it has much effect on gold prices.
If anything, the folks losing their jobs will not have spare cash to
buy gold jewelry, so it might reduce gold demand and lower prices?
