Also CALP gave a buy signal on the 30 minutes chart on April 18 when the green shorter term average crossed over the red longer term average <g>

I don't really want to get drawn into a technical analysis discussion, but I couldn't help noticing that if you buy every time the green goes above the red, and sell every time it falls below, you'll be doing a lot of fruitless trading based on those two charts you cited. <g>

My point is really that looking at the "successes" of some technical indicator only makes sense if you also look at all the "failures" of that same indicator. I also believe there are enough degrees of freedom (should we use the 20-day moving average or the 30?) that in retrospect you can usually find one that gives you the right answer.

P.P.S. Must be something else going on with CALP. None of that news you cited justified today's move in a weak biotech market.
