They can possibly even work together on things like this without giving up the fight on the main issue. Of course if your fighting about one thing you are less likely to cooperate on another but it is not imposible.

Yes. But if they can find a way to work together on something they agree on, anything, they build relationships and trust, which opens up the possibility of making some progress on the main issues.

Many pro-life groups do work to try and promote adoption, but they are less likely to support your second example.

The point is that they get together and discuss what options for joint action they might have and pick something they can all support. If they can't all support reducing demand for abortions, fine. Pick something else. Once they develop some trust on an easier issue, maybe they can find a way to work on a harder one.

Some people would rather fight. But many fight only because they don't know any other way. There are options.
