No, you have to decide whether you're better off standing your ground or doing something else. Part of the art to life. The problem, it seems to me, is when the only tool we think we have is a hammer.

If you didn't start your post with "No", I might agree. The "No" in this context implies that fighting for something you believe in is always a bad thing. If that is what you meant then we disagree.

I do agree with the idea of not constantly looking to fight about everything. I also think it is usually not a good idea to focus to much on the fight to the exclusion of the rest of your life at least if you haven't given careful consideration to making this particular fight your top priority and you see a possibility to actually make a difference. I can also agree that is often is not good to look only to fight and not even consider other methods of dealing with the problem, at least when other methods that hold out some hope are available.
