Sorry, Canadian or not, if you are naive enough to sign an agreement that could bring you harm without any option for remedy on your part, then whatever harm befalls you is due to your negligence. I'm just not so inclined.

"...without a moments thought". Translation: You have yet to be shafted by anyone, and you think you are immune to being shafted (touch wood). Does the phrase, "It can't happen to me" have any meaning?

So when IS it important? AFTER one has suffered financially? AFTER the lesson is learned? What about prevention, and buyer beware?

You are welcome to your opinion, but I am just not inclined to line up so anyone can have intercourse in my rectum without a fight - that especially includes a beaurocracy.
