George i've had some humbling experiences too, not in csco but elsewhere. The market really does predict econ conditions well before they happen. In addition, i often think the main purpose of the stock market is to make investors look ridiculus! It's alwfuly hard to look at LU, NT, CSCO extreme and others as a group and find much good news. But eventually the sentiment will become too gloomy and then things should rebound some. likely it will take some time though before the real bottom is reached. i feel bad for this yr's collge grads- it will probably be the worst job hunting season for them in recent memory. Unless of course co's start replacing the people they laid off with cheaper college grads! Victor
