Art, options are all about the "premium" that you receive for selling or pay for buying them. If SNDK was selling for $20 only an idiot would offer to sell you an option to buy or sell SNDK for $20 at a future date for a price of a penny They would rightfully deserve a "premium" for taking the risk that SNDK might end up priced above or below the current price. The same applies to all options.

My quick take on SNDK is that nobody cares enough to pump the options up or down enough to create any grand opportunities for profits. Since small-time traders take a big hit on the difference between the "buy" and "sell" price on most options, anyone trading fewer than a gazzilion options is probably better off owning actual shares than trading SNDK options at this time.

Times change quickly so keep a close eye on options related to shares that you own. While you might buy and hold shares for years, options are often traded in terms of days or even minutes.
