Fog Cutter Capital Group Inc. Declares $0.13 Per Share Cash Dividend
PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 20, 2001--The Board of Directors of Fog Cutter Capital Group Inc. (Nasdaq:FCCG - news), an opportunistic investment group specializing in mortgage and real estate related assets, has declared a $0.13 per share cash dividend on the company's common stock.

The dividend is payable on May 3, 2001, to stockholders of record on April 30, 2001.

The company has paid $.30 per share of its $.40 per share Sept. 30, 1998, dividend together with interest thereon at 4% per annum from Sept. 30, 1998. The company intends to pay the remaining $.10 per share on June 28, 2001, together with interest thereon at 4% per annum from Sept. 30, 1998.

The portion of the Sept. 30, 1998, dividend paid during the year 2000 should be considered a return of capital and non-taxable. The tax treatment of the portion of the Sept. 30, 1998, dividend paid in the year 2001 and the May 3, 2001 dividend will be determined after the company finishes its tax year ending Dec. 31, 2001.

The company will consider other future dividend payments as earnings and liquidity allow.
