Highlights and text of this speech can be read on many of the news services; I was unable to comprehend its meaning also, or why Allen bothered to deliver it.

It made me think of MacBeth's famous speech: "..a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing".

Sorry W. Shakespeare and T fans, but I just couldn't resist. The connection was just too easy, too obvious. This guy is worth $5 million+ per year? Al Dunlap, please send help!
