Just keep in mind that the first step is to get the Circuit Court to affirm that the "taking" is indeed official. This has nothing to do with valuation or public relations and I think that PR is not really important until we pass this hurdle. As much as I would like to see a higher price for CCO stock, too much publicity could develop into political pressure on Judge Smith and it could alter or delay his decision. On the other hand, the lack of mention of CCO is becoming suspicious in the context of all of the discussion of the Eastern Gulf. Those leases that Norton is talking about are only good for fewer than 400 million barrels of oil while we know that the potential for CCO is "tens of billions". It's almost like a conspiracy of silence. BTW, although I have been suggesting that a swap between the CCO leases and the Federal Eastern Gulf leases might be the basis for a political deal, it's not looking like all of those Federal leases are going to be enough and they may have to throw in all the oil in ANWR too <G>.
