Management making acquisition mistakes, which it later has to write off, doesn't make a lawsuit. The suit will have to show willfull misrepresentation, which resulted in harm to the suitors or benefit to the one's being sued. They'll have a tough time proving either. Chambers has virtually broadcast every piece of information at his disposal as it is happening. Although, I wish we could always have perfect CEOs, no one expects them to be, and our justice system unfortunately doesn't punish CEOs for making honest business mistakes.
