The reduction in posts on SI I believe have much more to do with decline in the market than anything else. This opinion idea that the "moral marjority" has reduced postings doesn't make sense. I for one have talked to people who have lost money over the past year have stop posting because they either 1) are not investing/trading now, 2) have busy lives and don't spent the same amount of time putering as before 3) both 1 & 2.

you let the bull market start again and optimism come back in the market. the people have been here the longest thru thick and thin are still around. they may be reading the posts, just not yet posting commentary.
