Actually the rally was happening already, the Fed just punctuated it with a big !!! You have a short memory and a very selective one. Problems in Argentina? Big deal.
Can you ever find a positive spin for anything?
And do actually believe there's a huge force of rich shorts ready to follow you into the bowels of hell? You and whose army?

From what I hear the big houses have been going more and more into equities and doing away with their protective puts altogether. They're not even buying defensive stocks yet so why would they start shorting? That article you posted said it all. March-early April was a climactic peak to short-selling and it caught them all off guard and slaughtered them. Why on earth would any but the most die-hard (suicidal?) shorts want back in again now? We've only run up a few hundred on the Naz and the rally is only halfway through its logical rotational cycle. This is not a short bear market rally it's much bigger and more sustainable than that. Wait until May 15 or Naz 2450, whichever comes first, then start your bashing again. Frankly, I don't think anyone's listening to any longer. Take a vacation and save your money. You may need it.
