kdavy, I have used stop losses at times and it seems to me that I always would get stopped out before the stock moved. 5% on a 50 dollar stock is 2 1/2 points. I dont think i ever have bought a $50 stock that didnt move 2.5 points lower, usually withing an hour of my purchase. But i do believe you--I guess the 1500 trades is what makes it work. Do you have a day job or is the market your livelihood? Mike-PS Thanks for the nice words and continued good fortune for you.
