Samim, my friend, I am moved by your concern on my mental abilities. It is this compassionate care I am rejoicing most on this thread. Which is just as well as it could possibly not be the clarity of logical thinking.

I am fully aware that CDMA2000 is "The 3G Solution" of the CDMA1 camp. Also approved by ITU as such.

Unfortunately however, by the GSM standards CDMA2000 is merely 2.5 G. Even the Koreans have noticed it.

Look at the speed. GPRS gives 171 kbs in lab, CDMA2000 152 kbs in lab. Plus, even more importantly, the fact that GPRS is always-on, meanwhile CDMA2000 requires a session set up. In fact we should talk about 2.4 G technology.

OK Samim, this was maybe a little abstract for you. So you are sitting in your Pinto waiting for your overweight date that has stood you up (again). You want to check the latest sport news. Which phone you pick up: the other which has automatically downloaded all the stuff you have subscribed? The latest stuff from one minute ago is already in it. Or the one that you have to start fiddling with the connection and wait, wait for the stuff to arrive?

Hint: normal people would choose GPRS.
