For those who are not familiar with the current state of Stirling Engine genset technology there is a private company that currently operates demonstration projects in 6 countries and has 25Kw solar powered gensets in operation. They are currently proposing a 2000Mw solar powered generating farm in cooperation with the state of Nevada. Stirling Energy Systems probably will not go public for another 18 months but they do have a good web site. They also have wind farms in operation in California.
