easter candy bombed this year i guess....

gasoline reg unleaded at 1.62 in one of the largest refining cities in the world! it's only april.

real estate taxes being hiked again here another 10% across the board... same as last year and the year before etc etc....

meat and produce prices in the last 15 months have gone up at least 30% on average...and we get some of the cheapest prices around compared to other parts of the country....

i killed the mower this weekend... bought the same cheapo mower i bought two years ago for 99$.. this year 135.00... exact same mower but now with some cheaper parts... more plastic in the wheels, back flap protector like a piece of suran wrap etc etc etc etc.... poorer quality.....much higher price....

staying in a hotel in frankfurt..at the airport in june... the price is ALWAYS for the last four years 450 DM..... this year, so far..... 360DM......

had upgrade miles for first class seats for our trip.. we needed three...

got the seats outbound... none available on the return... booked at the end of march... suddenly last week...3 seats become available! that means three businessmen are not going to spend together over 18,000 dollars on that trip....maybe because its Lufthansa (the you will have a good time airline or else)

visiting aunt (76 year old) three weeks ago faints at the breakfast table.. unresponsive... call emergency services.... very low blood pressure... off to the hospital she goes (first time in her life and here from germany)....
battery of tests... finally released the after noon of the next day....diagnosis...
nothing serious...

bill: over 8k!! She's safely back in germany.

needless to say.... i've been distracted lately by the costs of living....
