We went to Home Depot and the lines were so long we just left. Costco was just jammed. People buying stuff.

FWIW, Same at my HD here in Minneapolis. I tell you, though, I was also at Mall of America today and peple were NOT buying. I typically have to wait in line at any store I go to, but did not wait once today at seven differnet stores at which I purchased goods . Plenty of people there, but seemed to be very little buying going on.
