The Soviet Union imploded on itself. IT was inevitable in my opinion that any country who robbed their citizens of motivation could sustain itself over a long period of time. It's against human nature. If Bush and his friends keep up their " socialized expense, privatized profit" philosophy they will be ousted also. Capitalism could run the same course. If the middle class is used as the cash cow, military breeding machine for soldiers,etc. then the US will self-destruct also. Too much for profit alone will cause this ship to sink. Compassion needs to surface. We have seen Bush, the passionate conservative and not the compassionate conservative. He's a sham.
