I have never used drugs and I have never smoked. I drink little alcohol I hate to tell you this but alcohol IS A DRUG. But I know what you mean. The "War on Drugs" should be an economic one No way. Drugs and addiction is a HEALTH problem. Period. Also, it's a non-violent crime, but we rather let rapist and child-molestor out of jail so we can lock up pot-heads. Amazing. There used to be a WOD thread, but it looks like SI removed, hmmmmm.
