Elmer - RE: "When people talk about Tualatin, they should expect much more than a .13u shrink of Coppermine. Tualatin will bring much more to the table. Remember when everyone expected Coppermine to be no better than just a shrink of Katmai? Don't think Intel stood still with Tualatin. They didn't."

You mean like a 512K L2 cache and maybe a 200MHz bus? ;) Some guy here forums.anandtech.com posted stuff supposedly from Intel's website that says that, but provided no link...

Tualatin will make for an awesome mobile processor. 512K L2 cache, probably a SpeedStep "2", and Intel's .13 process technology. Intel will continue to dominate the high-end notebook market.

PS: I bet a 1.26GHz Tualatin is easily faster than a 1.4GHz P4 in many benchmarks. Imagine buying a 1.26GHz notebook that performs better than your 1.4GHz P4 desktop!
