1) Interesting on the 6 degrees-- most scientists agree that the fresh water from the melting Arctic ice sheets interupted the North Atlantic (warm water) current and caused the "2nd" Ice Age in Europe and North America. (England should be as cold as Labrador.)
2) LOL-- the Bible is one source. But, Asians, N American Indians, Maya, Aztec, Inca, Oz Abor, etc all say there was a great flood.
Plus there is a lining of clay throughout most of the world that most geologists agree confirms a flood.
IMHO, the Biblical Flood was the Black Sea flood around 7,000 years ago.
