Re: clean air and water. I think there is considerable demand for these, albeit not at sacrificial cost. This is why I watch the GTL stocks, the biggies are investing a lot in GTL now, which should eventually lead to cleaner fuels.

As for the utilities, I was wondering this am if they would go the way of the dinosaur, if/when people and companies installed independent power sources like fuel-cell "furnaces" or solar panels because they got tired of being stuck by the utilities. Obviously Warren Buffett thinks that day is a long way off. :-)
