Rodney, Just a couple of things to relate ......
FIrst : The Internet Phone application that Camelot is now selling is junk! It has not been updated for several generations. Competitiors are companies like Microsoft, Intel, IBM, AT&T... plus smaller guys like TeleVox, Itelco, Freetel, and Vocaltec. Many of these companies are giving software away that is far superior to anything that Camelot is now marketing. The corporations that are selling products have features that Camelot is promising to deliver at some indeterminate time in the future, and they have those features right now. By the time Camelot actually has a competitive product to sell, the rest of the field will have better/cheaper/ more marketable products. They are simply way behind the power curve !!

If you like the concept of Internet telephony, you would be well advised to invest in an operation that produces something marketable...

DW has done nothing but cause corporate disasters..
deviousness may have some value if it's result is success... however in the case of DW it's only result has been failure.. If one can not be a good crook, it is better to be honest!!

CAML might have been a success if DW had not lied to the public by introducing a product that crashed everyone's machines, and charged a premium for it, if he had offered downloads from the Internet, if he had not sued a popular net phone personality therfore pissing off the majority his potential clientelle, if he had not lied to the public and stockholders about bogus deals, alienating a large segment of the investing public,, delaying the introduction by many months of a product that might have made some preofit by pissing off so many employees that most of his development staff left in the middle of trying to get the new product out..if if if...

And this is the guy you think is a good risk.. you think that he has any reasonable businees sense... you think that his deviousness makes up for his lack of any concept of building a profitable business...
well your perception of a good business leader is quite different than mine! It is also different from most people's. If you have noticed large corporations hire people to run their businesses that have some record of success. Like people that have built businesses up.. NOT driven them into the ground.. incessitently.

I have to ask, what makes you believe that DW has the first chance of making a go of this... seeing that there is nothing in the record to indicate that he can?? It is hard for me to conceive of the fact that anyone would think that in the continuously displayed absence of any other redeeming qualities, just being devious is sufficient for a CEO to be effective.
The very idea seems highly ridiculous to me!!!

Yes, I have seen friends and associates get screwed big time by Camelot. I have personally lost a great deal of time trying to get their inadequate software to function. I have spent a large amount of time researching this company and it's officers, I have been absolutely amazed at how bad things really are ! Now, I take the time to tell people what I have found... it has become almost a crusade... kind of like a charity case... for investors. Anyone that I can warn off of this dawg,,, I feel that much better...

Anyway, be careful, and good luck!!
