I think it is within Ericsson's powers to right itself. You know the old saying, where there's a will, there's a way. They need to accomplish a number of things. Better working capital management. Improved logistics, which Flextronics and SCI Systems are supposed to help with. And much, much better product design. Their top design people are all new; however it will take a year for them to revamp the portfolio. I don't really understand the clamor for Ericsson to partner with Sony. Sony has been a failure in mobile phones even though they have been very successful in other areas of consumer electronics. Even starting a partnership with Sony, or any other Asian company, as Ericsson has done takes a while before it bears fruit. Partnering with SONY is no quick panacea nor is it a real long term solution. Ericsson must fix its phone division on its own and it is certainly within their power. It's up to them.
