. There is no free will, since in Russell's universe there are only two alternatives, strict physical causality or randomness, not self- determination. Self- awareness is an illusion, since "consciousness" would be diffuse throughout a system, with no summary point. Solon's post reminded me that I owe you a response on this. I think I finally have at least a general understanding of your point. That's the good news. The bad news is that I don't have a ready response.
