Eric, Perhaps it's the fact that pricewatch lists a single cpu price and the article is based on 1000-unit quantities. Not to mention one is a breaking news story and pricewatch is a consensus/scan of prices at retail from the past few days/weeks. Give it a chance to work though the system. During real launch, prices gravitate to the new price for a week or 2 prior to release, and often, single chip can be bought for a price below the official 1,000 unit price. There is something unusual about this launch. Joe
