If Clinton would have had the same string of military disasters, the Reps would be jumping up and down and declaring him incompetent. If the disasters where military defeats by an enemy force then yes the Republicans would be bashing Clinton. They would most likely not have made as big of deal as you do over a few accidents. The press would be obsessed with it and it would be all you would hear about on the 6:00 news. No. Remember April 1993 in Somalia? Who sent the troops to Somalia? Bush and Clinton have to share blame for that one. Bush sent them. Clinton modified the mission and in other ways left them more vulnerable then they where when they where originally deployed by Bush. Tim
