I don't know.. I think my analogy is pretty accurate.. You are just taking it to literately. I was just talking about the sheer volume of copying going on compared to when we were teens copying songs off your turntable stereo through one of those cassette players mics.. hehehe.. Wow did that sound great....

I think JVC was going to do anything they could to get their VCRs to the marketplace. They weren't going to let some small thing like copyright infringement stand in their way..:) So they agreed to the add on tax. I think it's a great way to make up for any real or perceived losses due to people copying shows and movies.

I wonder if blank cd's now have the same thing.. And if not, then why? Maybe that's the way to go.. The cd's and the blank mem cartridges used in those player thingys. It may not be a cure-all but it's a start.

I have no problem with instant access to music, movies, TV shows or any other media through the internet.. But the idea that some sort of fee being charged is going to end peoples lives is ridiculous. How about before you can download a song you have to sit through some terrible commercials.LOL!!!!
