To All: (Important)

As the popularity of the Soup Bowl continues to increase, I have noticed a significant increase in the number of posters as well as the number of posts. Like everything else, with the good comes the bad. I think the one thing that made this thread great originally is the quality of posts and lately we seem to have lost some of that.

Aside from taking a little time to analyze the markets and the current situation from the caves, I have also refrained from posting a little because I don't have the time to wade through so much. So....with that I strongly suggest the following and I am sure Sharck will agree....(by the way, this by no means is meant to point a finger at any one individual)

1. Leave out personal attacks on people. This is a free board and everyone has a right to post their opinions regardless of their bias. Actually, this is a good thing, because too many bullish posts or too many bearish posts tend to leave one blindly biased. I prefer to know what opposing opinions are and their reasoning because it allows me to think about what is going on in the bigger picture in different perspectives.

2. Be diplomatic in your opinions. There's no need to insist that someone else is wrong or be harsh in your statements. Give your opinion and maybe even a little reasoning to go with it. Leave the attitudes on another board and let's discuss all issues constructively., not destructively. Collective thinking goes a long way.

3. Please limit the number of off topic posts. While I don't advocate elliminating it all ( I do like to have fun too), I think it is important that we minimize the noise at least during market hours. And remember to use the OT (off-topic) at the beginning to mark your post if it has nothing to do with the market.

I think these 3 things alone could help bring the quality of the board even higher. Remember....regardless of your opinion, we are ALL here to make money.
