Major YAWN. Enuf of this nonsense. And you guys call me obnoxious. What do I have to do send you my trading records to prove you're silly?
I know you and Joe are both highly sensitive Bush supporters. You both wanted to run my off the thread when I criticized him here. Joe and Maverick. Two Bush boys posing as rational content cops. Well I moved it to the GW Bush thread and now have dropped it for the time being. But you've been saving up your rage. And maybe you were even short when I was bashing shorts (as retribution for four months of it coming in my direction).
You also both sound and post exactly the same, spending hours going back through my months of posts to try and find trading mistakes. Are you the same person? Sounds like it.
As if anyone cares what I did three months ago. I don't even care anymore. And since I never denied having a difficult Feb-March (though I did make some minor profits on some trades) and admitted I had capitulated several times on this very thread what's your beef?
I know you're not shorts like Velo and Softechie. But yes, Softechie was right on the money in January like I was right in April (so far) and I congratulated him on it 3-4 times even though he's obnoxious and posts a lot like me when I'm excited. We have opposite perspectives but I respect his right to be a short and usually reach his posts to see what the zealots on the other side are thinking. Listening to him once though cost me alot of money. I also congratted ST today for finally buying a stock. He has never congratted me but I don't care. I don't take any of this postign stuff personally unlike you guys.
Anyway you guys are just wasting your time. What sin have I committed that I don't readily admit? None. Pump and dump? Forget it. I always mean what I say when I say it even when it turns out I'm wrong (or a few days early or late). In fact I got creamed last year for holding too long not dumping. Wish I had dumped ESHR and LU before they came all the way down to the bottom. Do I have to announce when I sell now too? And who isn't wrong much of the time? You guys criticize me for having imperfect timing but if you had such great timing you'd be billionaires with a lot better things to do than bashing me on threads. Or even reading my small-time posts. You'd be on yachts with super models. The fact is most traders can only be right 55% of the time and that makes them successful. Even my buddies on Wall Street with all the connections are wrong 45% of the time. Or more.
As for Maverick's trading list in March yes I traded in and out of some of those (made money on Ericy and Csco, lost a little on NT) but who cares? Those were different times. And even if I lost every time and am wrong again now, so what? At least I have a plan and am willing to back it with rational thinking. I also respond to my posts which maybe I shouldn't too. My opinions being strong, I get lots and lots of responses. Lots of PM's too and many thanking me and asking for my advice. I tell them don't ask for my advice but here's what I'm doing and why I thjink it MIGHT work. MIGHT work. Never WILL work.
This April is 100% different from this March. We now have 70% bullish sentiment out there as was reported today. Last month people were ready to jump out windows. Greenspan is not pro-markets and anti-shorts. That will help a great deal. Now all we need is the gradual recovery to be more evident and longs can once again survive on this world, whicb is the way it should be. Otherwise no one would want to invest at all.
Three weeks ago I suddenly went hyper-bullish (after capitulating and giving up for a week) after the Lu rumor incident really pissed me off. I know LU well enough to know there was no chance of bankruptcy. Everyone bashed me (30-40 times) for being so brazen as to suggest a rally, including you guys on this thread. But I don't just back down because someone attacks me or disagrees. No, I stuck with my plan and guess what, I was right. Just like Softechie was right in January. You may not like it, or me, or my politics, but you have to give credit where credit's due.
Don't bother posting back and next time you make a foolish trade I'll chuckle. But no I won't publicly air your loss or bad timing in public or try to bait me like you're doing. I'll just chuckle to myself knowing even Mister Expert Accounting 101 and his buddy Joe Anti-Loral the Bush Boys can mistakes.
I'll stick with my predictions from last week. What are yours? It's a game. Just like betting on horses and boxing matches. Not much different. Just try to know your horses and boxers. Sometimes that takes time and even losses to truly understand.
I hope this answers all 8 posts I've gotten plus all the ones talking about me. I guess I've become a controversial character which is funny to me since I've been right on the money the past few weeks. even today I called for profit-taking. And tomorrow? Consolidation and a modest change of direction (though I haven't read the CPQ earnings yet, so I reserve the right to change that). Look at the little tech dogs in the green today that went up or only went down very slightly. Those are the next wave doggies. (I think, gg) |
